Two preschool programs are offered: a two-day per week class for three-and four-year olds and a three-day per week four-year old kindergarten class.
Our preschool program encourages the development of decision-making and creative-thinking skills through art, science, and language. Art activities are designed to help stimulate a child’s creativity while helping develop manual dexterity using a wide variety of materials.
We keep a child’s science experience as much a part of his/her environment as possible. From making cookie dough to examining the growth of plants, we encourage a child’s exploration of his/her world. Our preschool children are also encouraged to express themselves verbally and associate familiar things with words. This is basic to beginning reading.
