Vernon Child Development Center is a Christian-based child development center established as a mission of First United Presbyterian Church of Vernon. We are committed to positively impacting families in our community by providing a safe, nurturing environment where children have unique opportunities to develop to their fullest potential. We provide developmentally appropriate services in a loving, caring environment which emphasizes Christian values. We achieve quality in our programs through developing a competent, professional staff. We make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. Honesty and hard work are essential in all we do.
The Center is an adventure in Christian service offering child care, preschool, before- and after-school care, and summer camp programs to the community. We do not permit discrimination because of race, religion, color, age, handicap, sex, or national origin. You do not have to be a church member to enroll your child.
Vernon Child Development Center opened in 1978. In 1988 a new building was completed including three nurseries, two toddler rooms, a multipurpose room for preschoolers, and a lower level room for kindergartners and school-agers. New classrooms for our preschool program were added in 1996. Our building is surrounded by eleven country acres with exten sive outdoor play equipment.
We are open Monday through Friday from 6 am to 6 pm. Vernon Child Development Center is licensed by the State of Wisconsin.
