Mission at Vernon Presbyterian encompasses the opportunity to serve not only the community in which we live but also the greater world community. Through monetary gifts and gifts of time and talent, church members share God’s love in both word and deed through the following outreach programs:
A grant program providing funding for varying community service organizations including food pantries and meal programs; medical and dental clinics serving those in need; support agencies that provide counseling for families, the elderly and the disabled; and international mission causes.
Membership in and support of the
Hope Center in Waukesha County
Providing and serving meals through Waukesha Loaves and Fishes Program and the Hope Center meal program.
Support of local and international mission through the donations and fund raising efforts of church groups including the Presbyterian Women, Active Older Adult Group, and the Mission and Evangelism Committee.
Annual mission trips providing ‘hands on’ support to those in need while allowing our members to take our message of faith beyond the borders of our local community.
